Mrs. Bush
Originally from just outside Norristown, PA, I ventured up to the Poconos in 1995 to attend East Stroudsburg University. While there, I played on both the Women's Lacrosse and Rugby teams. In 1999, I graduated with a B.S. in Social Studies. Three years later I earned an M.A. in History from the same university. Following graduation, I was hired by the Bangor Area School District to teach seventh grade Social Studies and am still here, currently entering my 25th year!! I have three daughters and an awesome husband. In my spare time, I am the head coach of the Pleasant Valley Girls Lacrosse team and enjoy anything athletic (GO EAGLES!!!), and love traveling. My favorite part about teaching 7th grade World Geography is when I see the spark of extra interest in a topic, and we have a great discussion or debate. Seeing students WANT to learn about something is very exciting for a teacher and 7th grade is about the time when students can start looking at the world and all of its complexities.
