Mr. Smith

After spending much of the 90s in the military, I attended East Stroudsburg University for Secondary Education in Social Studies. I began teaching at Bangor in the 2004-2005 school year.  Since that first year I have taught multiple subjects, including seventh and eighth grade math, English, social studies, and science.  I have also taught or cotaught multiple subjects at the high school, mostly social studies courses, but also math and English.  When I have time, I enjoy working on older cars, building, gardening, reading, and spending time at the beach.  My wife Debbie and I have two children.   My favorite part of teaching at the middle school is seeing the students’ academic and social growth.
